Design and construction of artificial rocks

We design and build artificial rocks, boulders, and large-scale rock formations from concrete and specialist polymer-concrete mortars. Our decorations are created for zoos, water parks, theme parks, hotels, spa facilities, museums, gardens, and commercial spaces. Every project is tailored to the architecture of the facility, the function of the space, and the conditions in which the decoration will be used.

The basis of a durable artificial rock is a properly designed supporting structure. Depending on the intended use, we apply appropriately selected substructures and frames made, among other materials, from black steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, or acid-resistant steel. Different solutions are used in animal enclosures, pool halls, gardens, or on facades. This keeps the decorations stable and safe even in demanding operating conditions.

We achieve a realistic look through hand modelling of surfaces and deliberate reproduction of natural geological processes. We design the arrangement of layers, cracks, faults, weathered surfaces, overhangs, and ledges characteristic of the chosen rock type. Properly selected texture and colour make it possible to recreate sandstone, granite, marl, and other natural geological formations.

Artificial rock technology gives great freedom in shaping space. We build both individual artificial boulders and extensive free-standing formations on self-supporting structures. We create rock walls, rock facades, waterfalls, cascades, islands, animal enclosure decorations, and cladding for existing objects. The formations can become the central element of an exhibition or naturally conceal reinforced-concrete walls, technical installations, slide structures, and other infrastructure.
