Artificial waterfall at Westernové Městečko Boskovice is a large-scale theming project delivered for an amusement park in the Czech Republic. The project was completed in 2023, and the total decoration area was 400 m². The main goal was to create monumental scenery inspired by the Wild West landscape, serving as a naturalistic backdrop for outdoor shows and performances held in the park.
The central element of the project is a 250 m² artificial waterfall, surrounded by extensive artificial rock formations. The decoration was designed as an integral part of the outdoor stage, used among other things during a show dedicated to the story of Geronimo. The monumental rock composition strengthens the drama of the performances while also serving as a visual attraction in its own right.
The project required advanced preparatory and structural works. The scope included reinforcing the slope of a former sand pit, stabilizing the ground beneath the decorations, preparing the walls of the receiving water basin and waterproofing it. Only on this prepared base were the hand-sculpted rocks and waterfall surfaces built.
The Boskovice project shows how artificial rocks and waterfalls can combine scenic, technical and landscape functions. The result is a durable and realistic decoration that organizes the space of a natural amphitheater, builds the atmosphere of the Wild West and increases the appeal of performances for visitors.
