Building an Aviary - Madagascar Biotope

We spent the end of 2020 modernizing another aviary at the Warsaw Zoo.

This time, the aviary entrusted to us was to become a home for birds from the island of Madagascar.

Almost traditionally by now, the project included three basic elements: cladding the wall with ventilation using layered artificial rocks, building planters made of artificial boulders, and creating a pond for the birds. It was one of the smallest aviaries in the bird house, and for that reason we were able to complete the task at racing speed. We finished all our work in 7 days. However, before the aviary is opened to visitors, the walls still need to be painted and the lighting installed. Those works are now on the zoo's side, and we are waiting impatiently for the final result.
